I've saved a couple KMZ files of places that I've been. If you've installed Google Earth then you can just click on them and browse away. Certainly being there is more fun, but it's a nice way to get a birds-eye view of some of the places I've been too. For you hacker types, the KMZ is just a zipped up KML file. You can edit them to hearts delight in your favorite editor. Google has a KML Site to get you started.
